The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated hospitals in El Paso. Its impact is now being felt across Texas as hospitals are strained beyond capacity.
During this crisis, local government has become increasingly balkanized. The City Mayor and County Judge have each adopted radically different approaches to law enforcement and the COVID-19 emergency.
Zarges Animal Clinic
Zarges Animal Clinic is a Veterinarian Clinic in El Paso TX that was started in 1965 by Dr. Sidney Zarges and his wife, Sue. They graduated from Colorado State University and moved to El Paso where they opened a small animal practice. The current family owned practice continues the same mission as their father and grandfather did, treating all types of animals from dogs to cats to horses. The hospital has a full laboratory, pharmacy and digital x-ray for small and equine patients as well as a dental x-ray facility. They also have a after hour emergency center that handles small animal emergencies. The Zarges’ daughter, Kristi, has taken over the business and she can be contacted directly.
